Benvenue Medical, Inc. is an emerging leader in the spine industry, developing next-generation, minimally invasive implants. BrewLife was brought in to refresh the corporate identity, solidify brand positioning for the company’s new Kiva VCF Treatment System, and develop a creative launch campaign to go head-to-head against the entrenched vertebral compression fracture (VCF) market leader: Medtronic’s balloon kyphoplasty procedure.
Kiva is the only approved product to use an implant to treat VCFs.
Our qualitative research directly informed campaign development that showcases this point of differentiation and the big impact of both functional and emotional benefits, including getting patients back to their lives. Benvenue officially launched the new Kiva brand at the 2014 Society of Interventional Radiology conference, armed with materials we provided. Just three months later, they secured $64 million in financing and credited the large investments in part to Kiva’s successful U.S. launch.
